The Adonis Palace Hotel is an old ottoman house renovated to become a nice small hotel under the category of Special class. The hotel is located in the old city, in an area called Kumkapi, the palace of the fish village, really close to Sultanhamet. The hotel is within five minutes walking distance to the Blue mosque, the Grand Bazaar or any other main attractions in the old city. The modern area, with the centre in Taksim is only a few kilometres away easily covered with a short taxi ride.
This small hotel has 24 rooms with different shapes and sizes but each room offers television, minibar, telephone, & personal controlled air conditioning. The bathrooms are small but clean and it has its own hair dryer.
The hotel has its own restaurant offering wonderful views of Istanbul and a good selection of Turkish traditional dishes as well as international choices. The hotel has also a garden bar with a selection of cocktails and drinks. To be added the coffe-shop, where the guest can find a selection of hot and cold drinks, as the famous turkish coffee.
The exterior looks as Ottoman style mansion, that it has been take care off and it stands in perfect condition. The reception is small accordingly with the size of the hotel.
